Did you know that the name Michigan is the French form of the Ojibwa word mishigamaa, meaning “large water” or “large lake”.  What does that mean to those of you who love Michigan lakes?  Spring has FINALLY sprung in Michigan and it’s time to get your boat out and hit the lake!

As you are prepping your boat for it’s first spring voyage, here’s a list of things to check offered from Discover Boating that might be helpful.  SPRING START-UP CHECKLIST

While you feverishly work to get your vessel in tip top condition, it might be time to make sure she’s properly covered as well.  At Eaton Insurance, we can float your boat with Marine Choice, through Foremost Insurance.
